Well its been a while since I posted any comments. Lots has happened tho. Podcasting has taken off. our show is gaining listeners and strength as we go. twoblindsquirrels.com is really growning. Audrey popped into my life for a little chastisement for saying I wish we could have gotten along. She loves to hate me so at least I bring her some amount of joy huh? There is some other guy out there mixing my name with curse words but I dont know why he hates me. I think just out of principle. They seem to mad at me for things they think I think more than anything I have done. Although I am sure I have done enough to make plenty mad. I did get some explanation this morning in the word.
John 15:19-23
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates me hates my Father as well.
The mandate for me however is to love them that hate me. I do. I have nothing against Audrey or the others. I continue to accept the title or label or whatever of "fundie" only where it means that I believe the bible is absolutely true.
God created the universe. I think he would know best how he did it.
God established the family as man and woman.
No one comes to the Father but by Christ.
...and so on. I can think of no better reason to be hated. Than for the love of Christ and the persuit of truth.
