So Friday something happened that couldn't happen. Ok well not Friday but 2000 years ago Friday. A man died that couldn't. Original sins is passed down from Father to children. But Jesus was born from a Father that had no sin. Therefore he did not possess original sin and since he did not sin in his life either then he could not die. You see sin is death so without sin there can be no death. Jesus even asked God to forgive those who were torturing him. But those men could not kill him. He told the man next to him that he would be saved. But he couldnt die. He had no sin. But this man without sin died. How? Where did the sin come from that allowed him to die? What was the sin that allowed death to enter him? It was mine. He took on my sin and when he did God turned away and the Sun failed to shine. Jesus cried out that God had forsaken him. The he said "It is finished" and he died. Because of me, but also for me. For God's love for me. This was my lesson yesterday and the kids really got it. Thank you Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus.

Yesterday was a great day. The lesson was on the healing of Bartimaeus. It was the Spirit in Jill that lead me toward the point. As I was teaching I read the part about Bartimeaus not going his own way but making his own way to follow Jesus. It was that decision after the healing that made Jill go "Oh Cool". The Spirit quickly showed me what she was seeing and I ended on that point that we must decide to follow Jesus everyday even tho we have been saved (healed). Wow it was exciting. I love it when the Spirit uses me. When Jill is in it, the kids are in it. Thank you Lord.
