Problems with evolution. I dont understand why science insists on sticking with evolution. My friends say its because they dont want to admit there is a God but cant they be honest and admit this theory is fatally flawed without having to get baptized? Here are the major problems that I have found and that I have found no answer for. These are from science magazines and articles not from preachers or even Christians.
# EARLY ATMOSPHERE -
For starters we need a favorable environment for life to evolve and be sustained. The problem is that essential elements of the atmosphere are a result of life existing on the planet and not the other way around.
# SIMPLE ORGANIC MOLECULES -
We need a means of constructing the building blocks of life. How did these things evolve from a single element of matter without natural selection a requirement for evolution?
# LARGE MACRO-MOLECULES (proteins, DNA, RNA, etc.) -
Some simple molecules must be assembled into biologically useful large molecules again without natural selection and by accident. This happened globally and yet these things stopped occurring without an identified trigger for doing so. (see note)
# BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS -
Biological systems such as energy conversion (and as this illustrates even the system of evolution) must be constructed in whole, no piece of the system can exists on its own.
# LIVING CELL -
And finally, all these molecules and systems must be assembled together to form a highly complex living cell before natural selection (the driving force of evolution) can begin.
Plus other problems once evolution can begin:
The absence of transitional forms in the fossil record; Over 10,000 recorded anomalies in the geological column; Completion of genome sequencing has revealed identical non-coding regions in diverse vertebrate groups
Plus other problems once evolution can begin:
The absence of transitional forms in the fossil record; Over 10,000 recorded anomalies in the geological column; Completion of genome sequencing has revealed identical non-coding regions in diverse vertebrate groups

Note: this is my favorite one to think about. Evolution is supposed to be slow (according to the experts). "Millions and Millions of years" thats why we cant observe it today. The problem is that somethings did change. If molecules formed why are they not still forming? If proteins combined why are they not still combining? Even if it took millions of years for these things to happen too then we should readily recognize a half formed molecule! Scientists have been trying to duplicate this for years and yet even if they succeed they only prove design and purpose not accidental molecular evolution. The only way to prove that this happened naturally is to observe it in nature. Where, evidently it does not take place.
